National Collaborative Projects
The Department of AYUSH facilitated the implementation of the RUDRA program with software support for reporting outcomes of clinical practice in National Institutes of Ayurveda.
The Coconut Development Board awarded a grant to develop medicinal formulations based on
coconut oil.
The Ministry of AYUSH has approved a joint study by AVP Research Foundation and Avinashilingam University on the wound healing activity of Jatyadi Thailam, under the Extra Mural Research Scheme.
Ayurveda Biology was introduced as an optional paper for life sciences students at Sri Krishna Arts & Science College.
Mahatma Gandhi Medical College & Research Institute has approved the establishment of the Department of Ayurveda Biology in collaboration with AVP Research Foundation.
The Ministry of AYUSH has provided funding for clinical research on managing COVID-19 using Classical Ayurvedic treatments.
Ministry of AYUSH grants a Multi-Centric ‘Randomized controlled study’ to study efficacy of classical Ayurveda on management of Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Project launched in collaboration with University of Latvia a project on creating a dictionary of Ayurveda in Latvian language.
Ministry of AYUSH grants funds for First-ever clinical trial on Management of Diabetes with Ayurveda outside India. This study is on efficacy of customized Ayurveda Therapy on Type II Diabetes in collaboration with University of Latvia under International Cooperation Scheme.
AVP Research Foundation in association with AVP Baltics gets a EU Project Enhancing the efficacy and tolerability of metformin by add-on polyherbal formulation: a gut microbiome study.
